In 2022, Omar Rudberg participated in the second edition of Her Songs For Him, a unique songwriting camp held in Stockholm from October 3 to 6, 2022.
What is "Her Songs For Him"?
The camp is an initiative by the collective SLÄS (supported by Spotify's Equal initiative and Export Music Sweden) to address gender imbalance in the music industry. It focuses on pairing female and non-binary songwriters and producers with established male artists to create new music.
Omar's Participation in 2022

- Location: Participants gathered at Hotel Ruth in Stockholm for sessions and networking.

Her Songs For Him 2022 - That's it!
The second edition of Her Songs For Him has taken place in Stockholm as Sweden's (and probably the world's) first songwriting camp focusing on women and non-binary songwriters and producers, who write for and together with established male artists. The camp was presented by SLÄS with support from Spotify's gender equality initiative Equal, Export Music Sweden and Hotel Ruth, in collaboration with Sony Music Publishing, TEN Music Group and RMV Publishing.
ExMS is pleased to have contributed funds to enable the international participants' participation in the camp, which took place between October 3-6, 2022 in Stockholm.
The songwriters and producers who very successfully participated in the 2022 edition were Tomoko Ida (Japan), Myra Granberg (Sweden), Janeva (Australia/UK), Kamara (Norway), Sophie Verdonk (Sweden), Elena Rose (US), Daniella Binyamin (Sweden), Pure Shores / Marlene & Ji Nilsson (Sweden), Charlotte Kjaer (Sweden/Norway), Louise Lennartsson (Sweden), Isa Tengblad (Sweden), Emelie Hollow (Norway), Etta Zelmani (Sweden), Amanda Jerlov (Sweden), Astrid Söfelde (Sweden) and Soha Akile (UK/Sweden).
