15,000 downloads in one day – Omar Rudberg now releases “A World Like This”

After a strong 2025 with four Rockbjörnen wins, sold-out shows around Europe and 17 dates as the opening act for Zara Larsson, Omar Rudberg is back. On May 29th, “A World Like This” will be released – an autobiographical song that marks the beginning of a new chapter and his most personal music to date.

Earlier this spring, Omar Rudberg shared a demo exclusively via his Discord server. In less than 24 hours, the song was downloaded over 15,000 times – a clear testament to the strong relationship he has built with his fans worldwide and the enormous anticipation for the next era.

For the first time, Omar opens up fully about who he is, where he comes from and where he is going. “A World Like This” is a biographical departure – both musically and emotionally – where he invites the listener closer than ever before.

“After a few months without any new music releases, but with a lot of time in the studio with my friend and co-songwriter Karl Ivert, for the first time I felt like I could really open up. Without a filter,” says Omar and continues:

“ I wanted to open myself up more with this song, let people get to know who I am. This is also the first glimpse into where my new music is going.”

“A World Like This” is written by Omar Rudberg together with Karl Ivert, who is also in charge of production. Ivert has previously worked with names such as Zara Larsson, NEIKED and Loreen.
