October 2021

In October 2021, Swedish singer and actor Omar Rudberg was actively performing and engaging in climate activism following the massive success of the first season of Young Royals (released July 2021).

Key Events & Performances

  • West Pride (October 2–3): Omar performed a high-energy set at Eriksbergshallen in Gothenburg as part of West Pride 2021. His performance included tracks like "It Takes A Fool To Remain Sane," "La Mesa," and "Yo Dije Ouff".
  • Climate Live (October 16): Omar took the stage at the first-ever "Climate Live" concert in Stockholm's Kungsträdgården. Music Releases (Context)

While he did not release a new album in October, he was riding the momentum of his July 2021 EP, Omar Covers, which featured songs popularised by his role as Simon in Young Royals.
