In January 2020, Omar Rudberg was primarily focused on his solo music career in Sweden, several months before he began his breakout acting role in Young Royals.

The focal point of Omar's month was the release and promotion of his new single:

  • Release Date: The single "Dum" was officially released on January 24, 2020, through Record Company TEN.
  • Production: The track was produced by Johan Lindbrandt and fellow Swedish artist Robin Stjernberg.
  • Promotion: Throughout the month, Omar teased the release on social media, including a video countdown shared by his management.

Career Status in Early 2020

  • Pre-Acting Era: At this time, Omar was known strictly as a musician (formerly of the boyband FO&O). He would not find out he landed the role of Simon in Young Royals until August 2020.
