Her Songs for Him

In November 2021, Omar Rudberg participated in the first edition of the "Her Songs For Him" writing camp in Stockholm. 

What is "Her Songs For Him"?

This initiative was created to address gender imbalance in the music industry by pairing male artists with female and non-binary producers and songwriters. The goal is to encourage male artists to release hits created by women, who are often underrepresented in production credits. 

Omar's Involvement (Nov 2021)

• The Camp: The first camp took place in Stockholm over five days in November 2021.
• Participants: Omar collaborated with other notable Scandinavian artists such as Benjamin Ingrosso, Sandro Cavazza, and JUNG.
• Outcome: During the 2021 camp, a total of 28 songs were written. Omar returned for the second edition of the camp in September 2022, which expanded to include international producers and writers.
