Boy Band Era
Omar Rudberg’s professional music career began in 2013 when he joined the Swedish boy band FO&O (originally The Fooo) at just 14 years old. The group became a major sensation in Scandinavia, known for their high-energy performances that combined pop vocals with parkour and intricate choreography.
Group Evolution & Members
The band underwent several name changes during their four-year run:
- The Fooo (2013–2014): An acronym of the members' first names: Felix Sandman, Oscar Enestad, Oscar "Olly" Molander, and Omar Rudberg.
- The Fooo Conspiracy (2014–2017): Renamed to reflect their growing international fanbase.
- FO&O (2017): After Oscar Molander left the group in late 2016, the remaining trio rebranded for their final year.
Major Achievements
- Opening for Superstars: The band’s very first live performance was as the opening act for Justin Bieber at the Ericsson Globe in 2013. They also opened for One Direction during their stadium tours.
- Award Success: During their active years, they won three MTV European Music Awards for Best Swedish Act (2014, 2015, 2016) and earned multiple Platinum and Gold certifications.
- Melodifestivalen: In 2017, they competed in Sweden's Eurovision selection show, Melodifestivalen, with the song "Gotta Thing About You", reaching the final.
Disbandment
In September 2017, the group announced an indefinite hiatus to allow the members to pursue solo projects. Omar launched his solo career shortly after in 2018, while his former bandmate Felix Sandman also achieved significant success in both music and acting (notably in the Netflix series Quicksand).
During his time with FO&O (also known as The Fooo and The Fooo Conspiracy), Omar Rudberg contributed to two studio albums, several EPs, and numerous singles that dominated the Swedish pop charts.

- Off the Grid (2014): The group’s debut album as The Fooo, which famously topped the Swedish Albums Chart in its first week.
- FO&O (2017): Their self-titled final album, released shortly before their hiatus. It featured 15 tracks, including their popular Melodifestivalen entry "Gotta Thing About You".
