Omar Rudberg spent Saturday evening celebrating a special birthday with an old friend.

On September 12, Omar joined friends at Soho House Stockholm to celebrate songwriter and artist Julie Yu’s 30th birthday. 🎉

Julie and Omar have actually known each other for many years. Their friendship goes back to their early days in music, when they both participated in the Swedish talent competition Popkorn in 2011. Omar was only 12 years old at the time, and even then he was already turning heads with his stage presence. Julie was one of the other finalists that year.

More than a decade later, both have built successful careers in music. Julie Yu has become an accomplished songwriter, with credits including artists such as TWICE, ZEROBASEONE and Kep1er, while Omar has established himself as a successful solo artist and actor.

It was therefore lovely to see Omar celebrating this milestone with Julie and their friends in Stockholm. ❤️
