Rix FM Festival Malmö

On August 9, 2026, Omar Rudberg kicked off his highly anticipated 2026 summer festival circuit appearances at the RIX FM Festival in Malmö.

The free-admission concert was held on the city's central square, Stortorget, serving as a major headline event integrated into the opening weekend of the annual Malmöfestivalen.

🔄 A Surprise Roster Addition

Rudberg wasn't originally on the initial lineup for the Malmö stop. In late June, festival organizers announced that pop duo Marcus & Martinus had to withdraw from the Malmö date. Omar Rudberg was added as the official replacement act, to the massive excitement of his younger fan base.

🎤 Performance & Setlist

The festival gates and village opened early in the day, with the main concert kicking off at 16:00. Despite it being the early stage of his summer circuit run, Rudberg drew a massive crowd and high-energy reactions.

During his afternoon soundcheck and his evening live set, he performed a three-song lineup featuring his recent hits:

  1. "A World Like This" (his highly autobiographical single)
  2. "Careless"
  3. "Malandro"
