Let me rant about this because I am not happy!
I know that Rockbjörnen is a Swedish Music Awards ceremony, however, they should really change the voting system then, because having people voting daily to later, not count their votes, is something that doesn't go well with me. People were voting for Omar Rudberg from all parts of the world, daily and well, more than once. To what? To not take their votes into account? That is so bad!
Omar's fandom is formed in a 80%, if no more, by people not living in Sweden. So, the fact that fans from other countries would be voting for him was a given. If Rockbjörnen didn't want to have international fans voting, then they should use other voting system, like phone, SMS for only Swedish phone numbers, and use of Bank ID/Personal number verification.
The point that a person only needs an e-mail address to be able to vote is something that isn't enough for stoping international fans to participate in the voting campaign.
If you see, this year, all of the winners are Swedish! Zara Larsson, Kaj, Molly Sandén, Felicia, Victor Leksell... ok, Omar can be count as Swedish, but as I mentioned before, his fandom is mostly formed by international fans. It is incredible stupid to see this happening. How a talented and popular artist like Omar goes from winning all the awards last year to Zero awards this year??!!! It is just incredible idiotic for me how this happened and then Aftonbladet saying that now the music is getting the votes it really deserve... what are you saying? So, we, Omar fans don't have a voice? Don't we have right to support our favorite artist no matter where we are?
It is very good that Omar is busy and happy in London. Honey, don't pay any attention to this Aftonpuke people. The don't deserve you!
