Omar Rudberg releases perfume: "Unisex fragrance for all occasions"

 

INTRO is the name of the artist and actor's new perfume, which according to him is a confident unisex fragrance with spicy and fresh notes.

Multitasker Omar Rudberg is not resting on his laurels. On Saturday, November 25, the artist and actor, who recently turned 25, will be joining TV4's popular long-running series Så mycket bättre . In addition, Sweden's best dressed man 2023 is up for grabs with his own perfume, which will be launched on Wednesday, November 22.

The perfume is called INTRO, a unisex fragrance that is the first launch in Omar Rudberg's new beauty brand OMR Beauty. The ambition of Rudberg's new beauty business is to develop high-quality unisex products, and OMR Beauty should be seen as a natural extension of his interest and passion for beauty.

Café had a perfume chat with Rudberg about his very first own perfume.

How would you describe the scent of your perfume INTRO?

"It's a unisex scent that can be worn by everyone and on all occasions. I would say it's a scent that impresses. The scent notes consist of both fresh and spicy elements but also have a nice and warm base that hugs the whole scent. It's so nicely balanced and, in my opinion, incredibly good." 

What is your own signature scent?

"For a year now, it's been INTRO, it's my signature scent. But I love to explore and experiment. I'm probably most drawn to fresh scents and they can contain hints of citrus, fruit and something soft – such as vanilla or wood. Unisex perfumes in general are something I'm weak against, I appreciate when they don't have a clear label. It usually makes the scent more interesting."

There are differing opinions on how much perfume to apply. How many sprays do you recommend and why? 

"There's really no right or wrong and it depends on how strong the perfume is, of course. Some scents can give you a headache after just one spray."

You were named Sweden's best dressed man by this magazine this spring. What's the latest style trend you've been in on? 

"Right now I like to dress in earthy colors. And scarves!"
