Cannes Film Festival

In May 2023, Omar Rudberg attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote his feature film debut in the Swedish horror movie Karusell (released internationally as Carousel). 

Key Activities at Cannes

• Film Launch: Rudberg was in Cannes specifically to launch Karusell, a slasher film set in the Swedish amusement park Liseberg, which premiered later that year around Halloween.
• Media and Interviews: During his stay (approximately May 18–19, 2023), he conducted several interviews where he discussed his transition from television (Young Royals) to film, his dream of playing Aladdin, and the progress of Young Royals Season 3.
• TEN Film Representation: He attended as part of the TEN Film delegation, a new film division of his record label, TEN Music Group.
• Public Appearances: He was photographed at the festival on May 18 and interacted with fans before departing on May 19, expressing his hope to return for future festivals.
