Secret project

In July 2023, the "secret project" Omar Rudberg was most actively working on was the development and preparation for his beauty brand, OMR Beauty. 

While the brand was officially launched later that year on November 22, 2023, the intense preparation, including the creation of its debut fragrance "Intro," was taking place throughout the summer. 

Key "Secret" Developments in July 2023

• OMR Beauty Development: Following the end of Young Royals filming in late June, Rudberg spent much of July and the subsequent months finalizing the branding and scent profile for his genderless beauty line. The brand was founded in Stockholm in 2023 to challenge beauty norms.
• Film Post-Production: He was also involved in the "secret" final stages of his debut horror film, Karusell (Carousel), which was preparing for its October 2023 release. This followed his promotional trip to the Cannes Film Festival in May to launch the movie internationally.
• Music Strategy: During this period, he was secretly coordinating with Atlantic Records and TEN Music Group for his upcoming 2024 international push, which included the transition of his music distribution to the major global label.
• Så mycket bättre: July was also a key preparation period for his appearance on the popular Swedish musical show Så mycket bättre, where he recorded reinterpretations of other artists' songs that would air and be released as an EP in late 2023.
